ncredible restoration! I’ve had this bike sitting in my garage for decades just waiting for the right time to have it restored. After an extensive search online I felt the only place I could trust to have this done correctly was with Hector and A PLUS FREESTYLE. They didn’t let me down with weekly updates and pictures of its progress I knew I was in good hands! Thanks again for bringing back and restoring a positive childhood memory of mine.
Happy Holidays Hector! You have made this one of the best Holiday seasons since I first got this Hutch for Christmas in 1985. It looks amazing! Somehow you managed to make it look better than when it was first purchased brand new almost 40 years ago. Your kept the bike original but added the A Plus Freestyle creative touch that took this restoration to the next level. I could not be happier with how this project turned out! You knocked it out of the park! Happy New Year!
1988 GT Pro Performer - Once making connection with Hector, then came the process of figuring out the “build”. This process was exchanged though numerous emails, etc.…. Many photos we’re shared by Hector to zero in on the color choices, decal design, and numerous parts. The “key” to this build was relying on Hector and aligning our vision together. The way Hector translated my idea into his experience building BMX, is what anyone that’s going to drop serious coin for childhood memories. COMMUNICATION is definitely the main reason I will work with Hector again. The old school BMX is coming back in a big way, get in line now with Hector, as I’m already working with him on the next project (GT Zoot Scoot)!
In 1982, I was 7 years old and ET came into cinemas. The highlight of the film for me was seeing the BMX scenes and from that time my biggest wish was to have a BMX bike! When I turned 9, I got my first one BMX bike. Of course my family couldn‘t afford a Kuwahara or Haro. For years I dreamed of getting a Haro. Actually I didn‘t even know anyone who had one. I just saw it in magazines and later on the internet. I am so happy that 40 years later, I found this childhood dream at A Plus Freestyle. I have it hanging on my studio wall now. Thanks a lot Hector and team!
Growing up in the 80’s everyone wanted a BMX bike. I previously had a Huffy Vortex but I had to leave it when my parents divorced. When I finally got my BMX bike when I was about eleven then I moved from Texas to Atlanta and once again, I had to leave my bike behind. Now that I'm 43 years old I'm able to relive that childhood feeling thanks to Hector and A Plus Freestyle. Thanks for a timeless bike and piece of art. I love it!
When I was a kid my first true love was with bmx and freestyle bikes! 😁. Way before sports and girls(maybe not girls) I always wanted that dope bike in the bike shop window 😢. Finally old enough to pick one up, 30 years later but not soon enough 😁<br /> Thanks @manbsports & A Plus Freestyle for the 1999 GT pro performer ❤️
Hector! I FINALLY road the GT for the first time only yesterday! Bad weather and crazy work kept me off her for a while but DAMN it was worth it!! The GT is all dialed in, and running A+. The bike is put together well. Attention to detail everywhere. The wheels 🔥chop🔥. Rides tight. I am real stoked with this bike Hector. It is bad ass. Breaks necks of all ages. Thank you again for making this little dream come true. For real. Lookn forward to the next 🙏🏼
I had been looking for a nicely restored Mongoose Decade, as this was the model of bike I had when I was in junior high and high school. I made an offer on this black and white one from A Plus Freestyle, and absolutely love it! The bike arrived fast, and was extremely well packed. It was just as shown and described, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I’m working on adding some vintage shoes and a jersey to the display area around the bike, making it a really sweet display. Thanks again.
Bike was shipped extremely fast and very well wrapped for protection. Manbsports - A Plus Freestyle is very professional and builds beautiful bikes and gives plenty attention to all the details to make the bikes pop. It took me 30 years to finally get the bike I always wanted as a kid growing up in Brooklyn and I cannot be happier. I will surely do business with them again to grow my collection.
A Plus Freestyle killed it with this 1987 Dyno D-Tour. Top notch BMX restoration. I am sending them a GT Pro Freestyle Tour to complete next! They have some really cool freestyle bikes that will take you back in time!!
I purchased a gorgeous freestyle BMX bike for my son for his birthday from manbsport who is A Plus Freestyle on eBay and the bike was exactly as the picture described it to be. I knew my son wanted a BMX bike and I wanted something special for him and this bike was it. He rides it around our neighborhood now with his friends and he stands out and he keeps telling me how much his friend’s loves his bike and I know that make him feel great!
As a kid I always wanted a freestyle BMX bike and one day I am on eBay and I saw a GT Pro Performer that I liked, so I reached out to the seller who was Man B! Sports and asked him about the bike and immediately after corresponding with him, I bought the bike and I was so happy that I did. I think it was the kid in me that was more ecstatic then I was. I am a grown man now, but having and owning a piece of my childhood and this stage of my life gives me a great joy. An A Plus Freestyle BMX bike is more like a work of art so I ended up buying two, how crazy is that?
I am very satisfied with my DYNO purchased from A Plus Freestyle. Bike arrived complete and restored as advertised. Would recommend A Plus Freestyle to others, he was easy to work with. - Batman DYNO Compe
